Nova Scotia has a long tradition of producing folk art and today the tradition is as strong as ever. We feature carvings and paintings from Bradford Naugler, Barry Colpitts, Ransford Naugler, Hika Wagner, Mark Robichaud and Murray Gallant, to name a few. These artists express the spirit of our region by making everyday things come to life in new ways. It's quirky and whimsical and often very funny. It can be uplifting and high spirited or just plain absurd.
We have been enjoying folk art in our home for many years and welcome the chance to meet the artists and sell their work. We are absolutely hooked on it!
But selling is not the main thing, it is important that the most extraordinary and interesting personalities gather here and share their experience, but we will not mind just interesting stories. Here you can find sincere company , as well as meet with truly brilliant and charismatic people. Come to Laurel's house, I will be glad to see all of you - who are not indifferent to art. |
